Guaranteeing Your Small Business Success

There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it.

It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how valuable it is, nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open.

- Bill Elbring

To offer no resistance to life is to be in a state of grace, ease, and lightness.  This state is not dependent upon things being a certain way, good, or bad.  Watch any animal and let it teach you acceptance of what is.  Observe its surrender to the Now.  Let it teach you Being.

- Eckhart Tolle

If you think you are too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito.

- Anita Roddick

All our successes are the same.  All our failures, too.  We succeed when we do something remarkable.  We fail when we give up too soon.

- Seth Godin

Authentic success is living by your own lights.

- Sarah Ban Breathnach

I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come. I don't do things half-heartedly. Because I know if I do, then I can expect half-hearted results.

- Michael Jordan

No one gets an iron-clad guarantee of success. Certainly, factors like opportunity, luck and timing are important. But the backbone of success is usually found in old-fashioned, basic concepts like hard work, determination, good planning and perseverance.

- Mia Hamm

I found that every single successful person I've ever spoken to has had a turning point.  The turning point was when they made a clear, specific, unequivocal decision that they were not going to live like this anymore; they were going to achieve success.  Some people make that decision at 15 and some people make it at 50, and most people never make it all.

-Brian Tracy

If you can dream it, you can achieve it.

—Walt Disney

Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that?
We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves.
We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained

—Marie Curie

Life rewards effort exponentially. No matter how small the effort, nor how challenging the odds.

—The Universe

Six essential qualities that are the key to success: Sincerity, personal integrity, humility, courtesy, wisdom, charity.

When you are just interested in something, you do it only when it is convenient. When you are committed, you accept only results, not excuses.

 —Ken Blanchard

It’s not the employer who pays wages—he only handles the money.  It is the product that pays wages.

—Henry Ford

I will act as if what I do makes a difference.

—William James

Be there, go there now and never leave. Imagine that your dreams have already come true. Live your life from that mindset; predicate your behavior on that reality, not the illusions that now surround you. Filter every thought, question and answer from there. Let your focus shift and be born again.

Because dwelling from, not upon, the space you want to inherit, is the fastest way to change absolutely everything.

See the difference?

—The Universe

How committed are you? There is a remarkable difference between a commitment of 99% and 100%.

The most basic rule of survival in any situation is "never look like food.”

There is perhaps, no greater debilitating belief,  than thinking there are elements of your reality that you cannot control – be they fate, karma, the influence of other people, your stars, your palm, your loves, your looks, your personality, your intelligence, your sense of humor, or chocolate.

You simply decide everything, moment to moment.

Next decision please –

Reduce your workload by 30% and increase your fun load by 30%. And you will increase your revenues by 100%.  And you will increase your productivity by 10,000%. (If there could be such a percentage.) More fun, less struggle -- more results on all fronts.

If you could choose the easy way or the fun way, which would you choose?

Hint: Looking for the easy way usually means you're messing with the cursed how's.

When you focus upon anything at all, it's like a call goes out to every corner of the Universe, summoning ideas, strength, courage, insight, resources, and whatever else is needed to complete the laser beam of your concentration. If it's an answer you need, it will be forthcoming. If it's a choice you have to make, your options are calculated and recalculated under each scenario. If circumstances need to be arranged then every soul on the planet is consulted. And if it's help you need... we're already there.
